Manifesto
Stemming from a childhood love of picnics, and a personal experience of the wellbeing benefits of the great outdoors, Cheeky Patch was created in 2013 Jodi Napoli.
More than just a simple picnic mat, Cheeky Patch was borne out of a passion for good mental health for everyone. We are about support, awareness, community, wellbeing and much, much more. Through the shared experience of events, a love of food and the positive health benefits of nature, we will achieve a revolution to reclaim our lunch breaks.
Unique and original, Cheeky Patch is paving the road with a movement to encourage everyone to spend a little bit of time each day to make a positive impact on your wellbeing.
Mantra
Picnic is just a state of mind – we can take this favoured past time and reclaim it in our everyday, not just reserved for faraway, weekend adventures.
We can boost our mood and reconnect with ourselves, and our communities, in just a short break everyday; because together we thrive.
Bringing nature into our everyday life can benefit both mental and physical wellbeing – it’s about taking time, and it’s about making the time.
It’s a break we can’t afford not to take – lunch better, feel better.
